Cangilones de Gualaca
Our absolute favorite nature spot near Boquete
Cangilones de Gualaca is a natural river canyon with crystal-clear water carved into smooth rock formations. You can jump into the water from different heights, or skip jumping entirely and enter from shallow, calm areas — it’s very flexible depending on comfort level.
There is no entrance fee, and if you have a car, you can easily visit on your own. It’s about 30 minutes from Boquete, roughly halfway toward the David airport.
While the spot itself is free, it’s a bit outside town. If you prefer, we can arrange a private driver to take you there and stay with you for the day, often combining it with other great nearby stops.
This is a beautiful, natural, no-frills experience — just water, rock, and nature.
